Playing experience
Participated in 9 Soviet Championships ( best results: 1975 - 2-5, 1980 - 3-5, 1981 -3 ) . Participated in 2 Interzonal Tournaments ( 1979, 1985). 3-7 place in PCA Qualification Tournament 1993. Qualified for PCA World Championship. Lost to Anand in quarterfinal match. Winner and prizewinner of many tournaments. Participated in 6 Olympiads, 6 European and 3 World Championships with Soviet and Ukrainian teams
