@Dr-Tai-Lung I would say the Grunfeld Defence is perhaps suited against the London System. Creates imbalances, doesn't have to play c5 since its not really a necessity.

Okay, I played the Philidor for some time, I think I finally figured out why it's unpopular:

But Philidor was right - pawns Are the soul of chess, but, we have pawns too, and Black's bishop is stuck behind pawns, as opposed to our own bishop.

I don't like playing against the Sicilian (Staunton-Cochrane variation) or Paulsen attack.
